This May we will host two creative writing workshop for young people aged 16-25 at Kelvin Hall. Those interested can attend one, or both workshops.

Historic Footage, New Stories: finding inspiration in the NLS archives

In this workshop you’ll learn to explore the National Library of Scotland's Moving Image and Sound Archives, discovering sights and sounds from across Scotland’s history. Taking inspiration from what you find, and supported by University of Glasgow-based writer Michael Deerwater, you’ll use your observations and experiences to begin crafting your own story.

These workshops are run in partnership with Open Past.
